See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

“When I was a kid we played outside” remains no contest one of the most ridiculous and least discussed boomer takes.

I had a summer job at a daycare for three years and kids would BEG to go outside. During arts and crafts, during storytime, when it was pouring rain and thunder, and when the wildfire smoke turned the sky gray. They didn’t care. They wanted nothing more than to run around outside and dig in the dirt. On Fridays we walked them to the park down the street and they all looked forward to it, it was the one day where we never had a no show kid. They loved the park. They’d climb on the jungle gym and play with hula hoops. The little ones would ask the big ones for help on the monkey bars, and they’d all pout when it was time to go back.

Then at the end of the day, their parents would show up, put them in the car, and put the phone or tablet in their hands. The older generation wants to use screens as babysitters and they’re somehow the same ones who want to complain that the kids are glued to the screens.
